Latest Liverpool news as Jamie Carragher has his say on concerns that the Reds will face similar struggles to Manchester United and Arsenal
Jamie Carragher does not believe Liverpool will struggle after the departure of Jurgen Klopp like Manchester United and Arsenal after their legendary managers left.
There have been some suggestions that Liverpool may undergo a transition period akin to Man United and the Gunners. United have struggled badly since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement in 2013, whilst Unai Emery endured a difficult time at the Emirates Stadium after succeeding Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
"Manchester United went from first to seventh when Alex Ferguson left," he told the Metro. "Liverpool just finished third so I don’t think we are going to drop to 10th.
