TV presenter and singer Jane McDonald managed to lose an impressive four stone in just a few months after following a tailored diet plan, and there's one type of bread that she credits for helping her to maintain her weight loss.
During her stint on the programme Sugar Free Farm in 2015, Jane McDonald met with nutritionist Angelique Panagos who devised a bespoke diet plan for her.
"It's got no yeast in it and it's made with lots of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, wholemeal flour, oats and yoghurt of all things," Jane elaborated. Foodly experts assert that "eating most types of bread creates more sugar in your body as the bread is broken down into carbohydrates and simple sugars".
Jane has openly admitted to battling cravings for sweet treats and wine for many years. Her dietary transformation on the show saw her go from a UK size 14 to a size eight, and she has continued to embrace these healthier eating habits ever since.
