Janey Godley begins her last journey across the cities she loved today - Edinburgh and Glasgow - ahead of her funeral on St Andrew's Day.
Janey's death left a raft of celebrity pals in mourning, with many sharing tributes to the Scots star. Comedian Dara Ó Briain said: "Ah, poor Janey Godley . She was a force of nature, she lived the hell out of life, and she will be sorely missed. Love to her family and friends." Denise Welsh said: "Your mum was a one off Ashley. Love to you and your lovely family xx" Actor Simon Pegg said: "Go easy Janey.
With emotion clearly audible in her voice, Lorraine expressed: "Well she really is an inspiration, that's comedian Janey Godley of course. She posted that video last night sharing the news that she is receiving end of life care after her cancer spread. "We are sending her all of our love, she's been absolutely remarkable, she's been so brave all the way through this, still going on tour, still doing all of these amazing things.
