Jermaine Jenas has expressed his discontent after being dismissed from the BBC following allegations about his behaviour. The 41-year -old, who was a host on The One Show and served as a football pundit on Match of the Day, has been dismissed by the broadcaster.
Clifton-born Jenas previously hosted MOTDx, a show targeting younger viewers which was cancelled last season. Jenas last appeared on The One Show with Alex Jones on July 22 and was part of the Match of the Day panel on May 4. He also provided commentary for the BBC during Euro 2024, covering Spain's semi-final win against France as a co-commentator.
An unfortunate knee injury led to his early retirement. Following his playing career, he transitioned into broadcasting. In 2020, he started work on The One Show and became a permanent host a year later.
