Holidaymakers were taken to Athens rather than Corfu after allegedly being told there was 'no room' for them to land at the Greek island airport.
Jet2 passengers travelling to Corfu claim they were locked in a "boiling plane for hours" after their flight was diverted 300 miles away.
Travellers claim the LS951 flight, which departed from Manchester, then sat for several hours on the tarmac as temperatures outside soared to 32C. "We were circling with three other planes. He said we're running low on fuel and if it didn't land, we'd have to divert to Athens."
