The first episode focuses on her cold-blooded murder on the doorstep of her Fulham home in broad daylight aged just 37 on April 26, 1999. Both Mr Wheaton and Mr Roseman describe being interviewed by detectives before they were eliminated from the investigation. They include ‘the Serbian connection’. Three days before the murder a NATO bomb destroyed a television station in Belgrade, killing a number of journalists.

But this time as the victim in an unsolved killing needing the public’s help to solve.The episode also reveals the missteps and mistakes which set the investigation back.
