Joel Dommett dropped a major hint about Maura Higgins ' 'secret boyfriend' during the live spin-off show for I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! It comes after the 34-year-old opened up about "seeing someone" before entering the jungle Down Under.
Rumours have been flying that it's none other than Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks after they were spotted during a cosy night out and shared an intimate kiss. While neither of the reality TV stars has yet to confirm their romance, Joel seemed to let the cat out of the bag as he dropped a huge hint at who Maura had been referring to on I'm A Celeb unpacked.
"I think it's really good that they are keeping things strictly confidential. Strictly confidential." Joel then turned his attention to co-host Sam Thompson as he added: "Unrelated. Sam, how's your best mate?" Maura and Pete have long been rumoured to be dating without going public, and in August this year, they were spotted kissing at the Broadwick Soho Hotel. Opening up about her relationship status while sitting around the campfire in the jungle, Maura was asked if she was single, to which she revealed: "I am, but I was seeing someone before I came in, but I’m not in a relationship."
