Iconic singer John Farnham's voice has been heard publicly for the first time since he underwent cancer surgery in 2022.

Now, he has spoken - in a sample from an audiobook of his upcoming memoir, The Voice Inside. You can hear it in the video player above."I don't enjoy talking about myself, I really don't. Don't get me wrong, I'm an egomaniac," he says in the audio clip. The memoir was co-written with director Poppy Stockell, who previously created the documentary "Finding the Voice", also about Farnham's legendary career.
