Victorian Liberal leader John Pesutto has shrugged off 'personal attacks' from Premier Jacinta Allan after emerging from a partyroom meeting with his job still in tact.

Asked if he was happy there was no spill, Mr Pesutto told reporters:"I don't know what all that was about, to be honest, but everybody's focused on the job ahead." "The budget is a mess. Debt is continuing to rise in this state, putting enormous pressure on Victorian households and businesses. Mr Pesutto said no concerns were raised about his leadership during the partyroom meeting, but declined to go into further detail about the matters which were raised.
"The Liberal Party's continued to demonstrate that they're entirely untrustworthy and not focused on Victorians," she said.
