Unison is planning to close schools and waste services in Perth and Kinross which includes the First Minister's Perthshire North constituency.
John Swinney 's constituency is set to be hit by school and bin strikes after union members rejected a new pay offer.
The union says council workers in Scotland are angry their pay offer is not in line with other public service workers, many of whom have been offered 5.5 per cent pay rises. The announcement comes after thousands of schools and early-years workers rejected their pay offer decisively, with more than nine in ten of those balloted backing strikes.
It has mandates in schools and early years in Perth and Kinross, Shetland, Orkney, East Renfrewshire and Angus.
