Jorge Guillen, the American who died after being electrocuted in a resort hot tub in Mexico on Tuesday, was days away from graduating college.The fatal accident happened while Guillen and his wife Lizzette Zambrano were in a hot tub together at a private beachside resort in Puerto Penasco, Sonoran Sea Resort.Zambrano also suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital in the U.S. Her injuries included burns that were consistent with electric shock, KTSM reported.
Guillen lived in El Paso and attended Western Technical College for refrigeration/HVAC. He was planning on attending the school's graduation on Friday.'In times of tragedy, our community comes together. We are just as saddened as the rest of the world about the passing of our beloved student, Jorge Guillen,' the school wrote on Facebook.The ceremony will now have a moment of silence to honor Guillen and some of his classmates will speak about him.
