Judi Love urges 'parents to learn the symptoms of Strep A' amid further child deaths

Loose Women panellist and comedy star Judi Love is urging parents across the UK to take note of the symptoms of the bacterial infection Strep A following the deaths of over 15 children.

"This past week I’ve been looking after my poorly son and it’s difficult, so I understand why other mothers are concerned about the news." Despite the vast majority of infections being relatively mild, in rare cases the bacteria cause a life-threatening illness. "I’d advise all parents to try to remain calm, make themselves aware of the symptoms of Strep A and go straight to the doctor if they suspect their child has any of them – it’s always better to be on the safe side."Judi's fellow OK! columnist Peter Andre has also voiced his concerns surrounding the ongoing Strep A epidemic.
