Julen Lopetegui has tipped Crysencio Summerville to be a big success at West Ham United. The 22-year-old officially left Leeds United on Saturday evening, joining the Hammers in a deal expected to exceed £30m with add-ons factored in.
New West Ham head coach Lopetegui said: "I think Crysencio Summerville is a good signing and he is going to help us, for sure. He is going to provide the competition that we need and we need to think that in the squad that they have to compete for all the positions, as this will increase our performances and our level, for sure."The Hammers are still working on more deals before their Premier League opener at home to Aston Villa on August 17.
West Ham are currently away in the US on a pre-season tour, suffering a 3-1 defeat in the Stateside Cup to Crystal Palace in Tampa, Florida on Saturday.
