With most senior stars absent, there is not much to lose for Manchester City players on the pre-season tour.
But then there is Kalvin Phillips. That wasn't enough for him to keep his place against AC Milan, and when he did come on it was another nightmare. As well as being caught out of position in a similar way, he also managed to loft a ball straight out of play near Guardiola and inexplicably gave away possession in his own third to nearly gift another goal.
