The Good Morning Britain presenter compared the experience to 'like having an out-of-body experience'
Kate Garraway feared she was having a heart attack while caring for her husband Derek Draper as she opened up on her own health scare which left her unable to move with 'searing pain'.
Kate said: "It was November 2022. I woke with a start as my alarm sounded. It was 2am and time to get up to present Good Morning Britain. However she was immediately sent to hospital by a producer, where she recalled doctors 'put monitors on my chest, took blood tests and blood pressure rates and measured oxygen levels in my blood'. After results clarified that she wasn't having a heart attack, Kate learnt that she may have been undergoing 'stress-related angina'.She said: "I've allowed myself time to grieve for our old life.
