The bemused former Ibrox star was left raging after the Ibrox centre-back was punished against Benfica.
Fuming Kenny Miller has erupted over the decision to awarded a penalty against Rangers during the Europa League clash with Benfica.
The centre-back headed the ball down from a corner during the clash - but the ball would connect with his hand in the process of clearing the danger. UEFA rules advise that if the player has knocked the ball onto his own arm the handball should not be punished - however referee Tobias Stieler was sent to review the incident at the pitchside monitor and awarded the spot-kick.
That only sparked more fury from Miller who went on: “Oh, don’t. It was incredible. It’s a stonewall penalty if Soucek hits it. If it is the defender it hits then it is clear that it’s not a penalty, because of the law, but that is exactly what happened with John Souttar.
