Wildwood Trust says Boki will be monitored 'closely' to make sure he is responding to treatment.
A brown bear that underwent brain surgery in the first operation of its kind in the UK is doing well, but "not out of the woods" yet, said the charity caring for him.He had the operation after an MRI scan in Surrey revealed he had hydrocephalus, a build-up of fluid in the brain.
The Wildwood Trust said: "We are very pleased to report that Boki is awake and is doing as well as can be expected following his brain surgery yesterday.
