A man suspected of fatally shooting a woman in Kerrville was arrested in San Antonio Saturday night, police said. Gabriel Rene Aleman , 29, was arrested around 10 p.m. in the 9400 block of Wurzbach Road , according to a preliminary police report. San Antonio police officers arrested Aleman after surveilling a home in the 400 block of San Gabriel where Aleman was believed to be hiding from police, the report states.

Aleman was arrested on Wurzbach Road while exiting the vehicle. Casandra Carin Moreno, 31, also was arrested for giving Aleman a ride to San Antonio after the shooting, according to Kerrville police. She is currently being held at the Kerr County jail. Aleman was booked into the Bexar County jail and is being held on a $1 million bond, police said.
