Former independent warns repeal will see return to ‘slow, unpredictable and dangerous’ transfer system for sick asylum seekers
The former independent Kerryn Phelps has appealed to Senate kingmakers not to repeal the medevac procedures, warning scrapping the current law will mean a return to the “slow, unpredictable and dangerous” transfer system for asylum seekers in need of urgent medical attention.
