Beer gardens and nightclubs could be radically altered under the alleged anti-smoking plans, which could make having a cigarette in the sunshine outside a pub a thing of the past
Labour is considering making it illegal to smoke a cigarette in outdoor public spaces such as beer gardens, or even outside football stadiums, in an effort to encourage Britain to quit smokin, according to alleged leaked plans. The move could see cigarettes banned from most public spaces.

Years of research suggest that this decision, which banned smoking indoors in all public places, likely saved thousands of lives rather than harming businesses.
Conservative governments are looking to further their campaign to snuff out smoking in Britain, which is blamed for approximately 80,000 deaths a year. The proposed policy might see a gradual rise in the legal age for buying tobacco, aiming to deny future generations of young people access.
