A 12-strong team took part in the major event at Grangemouth
A 12-strong Lanark Amateur Swimming Club squad took eight medals from the Falkirk Integrated Regional Swim Team Graded Meet held at Grangemouth Sports Complex last weekend.
Falkirk Integrated Regional Swim Team was created in 2006 to improve the level of competitive swimming of clubs in the Falkirk area. The unique integrated partnership incorporates Falkirk Council Community Trust, Bo’ness ASC, Falkirk Otter ASC, Grangemouth ASC and Scottish Swimming. The programme has established its own FIRST Open Meet and FIRST Graded Meet in the swimming calendar, both of which are very successful and regarded as excellent competition opportunities by other clubs.
