Dr Purandhar Nosina admitted sending the communications to two separate people in December 2020, saying he was 'utterly mortified and ashamed'.

A Lanarkshire doctor who said he was "utterly mortified and ashamed" after sending threatening emails and 'malicious communications' has been handed a warning.

"I feel that I have let the profession, my regulator, , and myself down. Most importantly, I am utterly devastated that I caused such distress to Ms B, , and to Mr A . I mentioned at the start of this statement that I was raised by good parents who taught me to do no harm to others and I understand that by my actions I did not uphold the important values my parents instilled in me.
