The Majid family were invited to visit a top London research centre to see the impact of the thousands of pounds they have raised in honour of little Rayhan

Nadia previously told Lanarkshire Live how she had “loved” completing the walking challenge, including a special group walk at one of Rayhan’s favourite places, Maxwell Park in Glasgow – and told how she and her relatives, friends and neighbours plan to repeat the fundraiser next year. Rayhan first started having headaches and being sick in October 2017; he was seen by four different GPs with none thinking anything was seriously wrong, but when his parents rushed him to the emergency department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow as his symptoms worsened, a scan revealed the mass in his brain.

Nadia said: “We don’t feel angry that he died because we believe that was God’s will and we were gifted with four-and-a-half years of a beautiful life with our Rayhan – however, we’re angry about all the head-shaking and negligence from the doctors and how long it took to get a diagnosis.
