Lancashire neighbourhood's rapid 475% surge in Covid cases in just one week
Lancashire residents are continuing to battle with Covid 19 as infections rise across the county. One particular Lancashire neighbourhood has seen a rapid surge in coronavirus rates in the last week..
Broughton & Wychnor in Preston currently has the highest number of cases in the county. with 277.8 cases per 100,000, the area has seen a 175% per cent rise. Nelson Bradley has a rate of 231.6 cases per 100,00, with 16 new confirmed cases, representing an increase of 300% where as Hapton & Lowerhouse, near Burnley, has 11 new confirmed cases, representing a 266% increase.
