The Tes Schools Awards includes inspiring teachers and schools from across the UK

Lancashire schools and teachers have been included in a nationwide shortlist for a prestigious set of awards.

The shortlist for the 15th Tes Schools Awards includes inspiring teachers and schools from across the UK. Schools in Lancashire have been named as finalists in the specialist provision school, subject lead and primary school of the year categories. The Tes Schools Awards recognises the best teachers and schools from UK state and independents, including early years settings, primary and secondary. The panel of awards judges include school leaders, experts and education researchers.This year there are 20 award categories including two special awards, honouring the classroom Resource of the Year and a Lifetime Achievement Award.

A spokesperson for Tes Schools Awards said: "We want to say a big thank you to everyone who entered the Tes Schools Awards 2023, we've been inspired by your achievements. The judges have now made their difficult decisions and you can see the shortlist for each category below. "If you've made the shortlist you can now book your earlybird tickets for our glittering awards ceremony on Friday 23 June.
