Officers remain at the scene in St Ann's following a 'serious assault'
A police cordon remains in Nottingham following reports of a 'serious assault'. Officers were called to the junction of Ransom Road and Brewsters Road in St Ann's at 5pm on Monday, February 6.
A young man was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre with injuries which are not currently believed to be life-threatening, the force said. Around four police cars were seen in the area last night, with a number of detectives arriving at the scene to carry out their inquiries. Officers previously explained a large police presence will be in the area while detectives carry out work to establish the full circumstances of the incident. This remains the case on the morning of February 7.

A young man was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre with injuries which are not currently believed to be life-threatening.
“People can expect to see a large police presence in the area while we investigate the full circumstances of the incident. Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 575 of 6 February 2023, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
