Everton are plotting a shock move to sign Almeria striker Largie Ramazani before the transfer deadline,, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Spanish second-tier club will be forced to cash in on the forward before the transfer window closes after their relegation last season.
Ramazani has entered the final year of his contract at Almeria and already has experience of English football after coming through the academy at Man United. However, Everton’s recruitment team have been alerted by his availability, with his ability to play out wide seen as a bonus. The Toffees finished last season with just 40 goals from 38 league games – the division’s second-lowest scoring team behind Sheffield United.
