The South Sydney Rabbitohs superstar has five days to respond after being issued with an infringement notice by the NRL following a week of negative headlines.
The NRL has formally issued Latrell Mitchell with a breach notice after he was pictured leaning over a table in a Dubbo hotel room near a white substance.
Under the terms of the new collective bargaining agreement with the Rugby League Players Association, the NRL does not announce proposed sanctions when it issues a breach notice. Mitchell has five days to respond. Latrell Mitchell appearing to lean over a table with a white substance on it. There is no suggestion the substance is an illicit drug.
