Laura Harrier showed off her exquisite red-carpet style at the 2024 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday.The White Men Can’t Jump actor arrived in a futuristic take on the little black dress, pulling a showstopper from Mugler’s Spring 2024 collection. The sleeveless dress featured several mesh illusion panels along the chest, the sides of her torso, and on her thigh, all of which served to amplify the silhouette of her body.
“It’s hard to reference yourself as , but I try to stay true to myself and create my style,” Harrier said. “I have a really strong sense of taste and what I like and don’t like. When I wear things, I see people wearing them as well. When I was younger and admired all of these people, I would think, When I’m older, I want to be an It girl, so I’m very flattered.”When it comes to trends, she said she tries to avoid being labeled as a “quiet luxury” follower.
