Fire crews across West Yorkshire were called out to the scene to assist
A plane has been forced into making an emergency landing at Leeds Bradford Airport after a bird struck an engine.
At this time, the plane was 10 minutes away from landing at Leeds Bradford Airport and so fire crews were scrambled to the scene from all across West Yorkshire.The plane landed successfully and safely, with all 135 of its passengers and its five members of crew. The plane was inspected and returned to its stand with airport crews, WYFRS crews, West Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service were all in attendace.
