Since 9 January, all public schools throughout Lebanon have been closed due to teachers strikes 🚸Leaving an estimated one million children without education for three weeks.
While stuck at home, Ahmad, who works three jobs, has tried to help his children pass the time by asking a relative to come and support them educationally for an hour a day.
“With a struggling economy, I fear for my children’s future in Lebanon and am actively seeking opportunities to immigrate to countries like Turkey or Brazil where I can provide them with a better education.”of three living in Akkar in northern Lebanon, said she has stopped giving her children pocket money while the family barely have two meals a day.
