The story of the girl who fell in the toilets at Leeds Festival has become the ultimate festival cautionary tale.
Leeds Festival goers will likely have heard the rumours about 'poo girl', the girl who got stuck in a long-drop toilet. The unfortunately true story is re-told at festivals, especially in the queue for long-drop toilets.
Thankfully the teenager didn’t actually fully fall down into the loo – as rumours suggest. But she did need to be decontaminated before returning to the event. Eventually, the girl, who was working as an apprentice for Specsavers at the time, had to call her mates to alert a local fire crew to come to her aid. The firefighters thought it was a joke for quite a while, but eventually realised the seriousness of her predicament once they’d taken the top of the loo off so they could get to her.
