Leeds United can 'really look forward to having him in their club'
It had always been Josuha Guilavogui 's dream. Not only to play in England, but to represent a club like Leeds United.
It remains to be seen how much Guilavogui will actually feature for Leeds, but this is a figure who will play his part in the dressing room and on the training pitches at the very least in the coming months. Wolfsburg captain Maximilian Arnold knows that better than most. In fact, no other player has featured in more games alongside Guilavogui.
"He’s a family-oriented guy who is always eager to win games and be successful. The players and fans in Leeds can really look forward to having him in their club." Farke has already referred to Guilavogui as a 'mentor', who speaks four languages, and it is worth remembering that the Leeds boss repeatedly stressed need for experience following the Whites' painful play-off final defeat against Southampton back in May. Guilavogui, by a distance, is now the oldest player in a dressing room with an average age of 24.
"He is a real leader and, with his experience, he can help any team," the forward told Leeds Live. "Everyone at Leeds can look forward to a great player and a great person. I wish him nothing but the best in every way.”
