Leeds United are reportedly interested in a loan move for Aston Villa striker Louie Barry, who was recalled from a successful loan spell at Stockport County. Other Championship clubs, including Middlesbrough, Derby County, Millwall, and Sunderland, are also linked with the young forward. Villa are assessing Barry in training before making a decision on a potential loan move this month.
Leeds United are said to be among a number of Championship teams waiting for the green light from Aston Villa to make an approach for striker Louie Barry this month.
The Villa youngster netted 16 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for the Hatters in the first half of the campaign, predominantly from the left-flank, before being recalled by his parent club at the start of January. However, Villa are not reportedly looking to offload the striker on a permanent deal this month, with the likes of Boro, Leeds United, Derby County, Millwall and Sunderland all linked with loan move this month.
Fellow frontman Patrick Bamford has also been linked with a move away from Leeds this month, with Blackburn Rovers and Wrexham two clubs reportedly keen on his services, though it's unlikely Farke would sanction a move unless a replacement can be found first.
