Leeds United visit Norwich City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon with choices at Daniel Farke's disposal so we tasked our club writers to name the XIs they would pick
It will have been a long two weeks since Leeds United beat Bristol City by the time they line up at Carrow Road on Saturday. And yet, not a lot has changed in player availability for Daniel Farke.
READ MORE: Leeds United shake-up possible, training ground boost, Gray debate in what we learned from Farke There is not much in it, but the Bournemouth loanee did catch the eye when he started against Queens Park Rangers before rolling his ankle. The rest of the team is as you were, except for the customary switch of Georginio Rutter to the right and Joel Piroe to the head of my attack.
Beren’s XI: Meslier; Shackleton, Rodon, Struijk, Byram; Ampadu, Kamara; Rutter, Summerville, Anthony; Piroe.Leeds United had to work hard to claim the three points before the international break against Bristol City, but I wouldn’t be looking to make too many changes to the starting line-up this weekend. Rotation will come down the line with games starting to come thick and fast once again, but for this weekend’s game I’m making just one alteration.
It probably goes without saying now Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk are the preferred two in the middle of defence, while Sam Byram is the clear choice on the left. With Gray on the bench, Ethan Ampadu and Glen Kamara get the nod in the middle, while I’m happy to keep Joel Piroe in the number 10 spot for now, with Georginio Rutter excelling ahead of him.
