Leeds United are weighing up a return for Austrian midfielder Dejan Ljubicic in the final week of the transfer window, according to reports in Germany. The 26-year-old Cologne star was a target earlier this summer, but no deal emerged.
Ljubicic scored twice as Cologne beat Braunschweig 5-0 in Bundesliga 2 on Saturday, playing in a right-wing role. Cologne managing director Christian Keller was asked about transfers this weekend, but refused to be drawn on specific deals, saying: “It is normal that there are rumours at the end of a transfer phase."
