Leeds United are almost a quarter of the way through their 2023-24 Championship campaign
Leeds United are in a good place as they take a well-earned rest from Championship action over the international break. The Whites are fifth in the league table with 11 games played and after seeing off Bristol City last time around to pick up back-to-back wins for the first time this season, they’re only looking up.
Since the win at Ipswich Town on August 26, though, Leeds have turned a corner with new signings giving the squad a settled and fresh feel. The Whites have averaged two points a game in the seven matches that have followed that day at Portman Road, allowing them to climb the league ladder. Confidence seems to be flowing as a team as Leeds control the tempo and direction of most games, while creativity in the final third has been a common theme. What’s been key to Leeds’ progress, though, is their recruitment and the success of it.
That will help when it comes to consistency in results, too, with Leeds stringing two results together for the very first time just last week.
