Leeds United chief executive Angus Kinnear spoke to fans at the September meeting of the Supporter ADvisyory Board and addressed topics like the January transfer window, Elland Road ownership and 49ers Enterprises's takeover
Loans will form the basis of Leeds United’s January transfer strategy if Daniel Farke needs reinforcements when the window opens. Joe Rodon, Djed Spence and Jaidon Anthony all arrived on temporary deals in the summer, leaving two spots free on the loan register.
“Mark Roberts brought up the expectations of the board when Daniel Farke was appointed,” the minutes said. “These were discussed with Daniel, and it was felt he was the right person for the job, but he needs time. “Also, discussion about funds, if needed in January, due to injury, will be available. The greater value in January will be from the loan market, have deliberately kept two loan spots free.”
“Angus Kinnear gave the club update,” the minutes said. “The takeover of the 49ers is complete. Will be seeing some changes in the coming weeks, especially around stadium development.
