That's according to The Athletic, who say the Whites are preparing a bid in the region of £8-£10million for the Dutch forward.
The report claims Piroe is likely to leave Wales before the transfer window slams shut with Leeds one of a number of clubs competing to sign him. Former Swans boss Russell Martin is reportedly keen on a reunion with Piroe at his new club Southampton, while Leicester are also keeping a close eye.
"I believe in Facundo a lot, and I think he can become important, but I can't give him my word that he will play 50, 40, 30 games," said De Zerbi.
