Neither James nor Wober were involved in the last game before the break, a win over Hull City, so it remains difficult to steer away from a winning side. James has the credit in the bank to force his way back into that line-up, but with these weeks on the sidelines, a talent like Manor Solomon has the time to bed himself in and make that wide berth his.
Given the progress the 23-year-old has made in the early weeks of the season, it seems unwise to pull him out of the line-up because of that late return. The alternatives are Joel Piroe or Joe Rothwell and neither of them is compelling enough to start Aaronson on the bench.
