“I stand in solidarity with the DOT and Secretary Christina Frasco, who has worked tirelessly and diligently to enhance and promote Philippine tourism,” said Legarda in a statement.DOT was recently drew flak for its Philippine tourism campaign video that included stock footage of places overseas.
DDB Philippines, the advertising agency that made the said video, already admitted and apologized for the incident. DOT eventually terminated its contract with the firm.
