A legend of British acting is set to return to her TV work on Coronation Street. Dame Maureen Lipman will be returning to the ITV soap after initially quitting the soap saying she 'couldn't go on'.
It's sparked hopes she could return to the Manchester show following her current stint on the West End. The veteran actress appeared on ITV Loose Women earlier this year, where she addressed her future on the cobbles. She said: “They’ve really put me through it the last few weeks. I’ve had seven scenes to learn a day.Despite worries over her Corrie future, Maureen is back filming scenes on Weatherfield. Fans' photos also show her posing at the set this week.
