Construction is finished on a new Starbucks drive-thru and Sainsbury's convenience store at Leicestershire's Stud Brook Business Park. Bosses have hinted at opening dates for the facilities in February and March, respectively. The development also includes industrial and warehouse units.

Construction work on Leicestershire's new Starbucks drive-through and Sainsbury's store has been completed. Bosses have also teased the opening dates for the new facilities.

The 20-acre business park, which is close to East Midlands Airport, is currently under construction. When complete, Stud Brook Business Park will feature a number of warehouse and industrial units ranging from 8,500 to 30,000 sq ft. Clowes Developments is behind the project, with the building firm hopeful that the site will cater for small and medium-sized businesses, while also accommodating larger national operators. It says some household names have already taken up space at the site, with the units set to be ready for occupation by the spring.

Starbucks had previously revealed that its single-storey drive-thru coffee shop will come with 22 parking spaces, including three disabled bays. It will also create nine full-time jobs and 12 full-time positions, including shop floor and store management roles.
