Lenovo unveiled the Legion Go S and Legion Go S - Powered by SteamOS, two versions of the same 8-inch handheld gaming PC. The top-tier model features AMD's Z2 Extreme processor, an 8-core/16-thread APU with 16 CUs of RDNA 3(.5) GPU. Notably, the Legion Go S is the first officially licensed handheld gaming PC to run SteamOS, Valve's Linux-based operating system primarily known for the Steam Deck.
The device offers a smooth gaming experience, demonstrated by a playthrough of Forza Horizon 5 that was remarkably free of stutters and frame drops. The Legion Go S feels solid and well-built, with responsive triggers.
