Liam Payne 's death has been confirmed following a tragic fall from the balcony of his hotel in Argentina. The singer tragically died on the spot after falling from the hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday.
As reported in the Mirror, Crescenti stated this morning: "Our role was to head there quickly, give medical attention, and try to resuscitate him, but his injuries were incompatible with life. Based on what the team saw, there was apparently a cranial fracture and extremely serious injuries that led to his immediate death."
Forensic officers went on to cordon off the area while fans gathered outside, lighthing candles and leaving flowers at the side of the road. Inquiries have revealed that Liam checked himself into the CasaSur Hotel, nestled in Buenos Aires' fashionable Palermo district, by himself on October 10. Last night, Liam's body was transferred to a city morgue on Viamonte Street, a mere 15-minute drive southwest from the high-end hotel he had been staying at. The Foreign Office confirmed it is in contact with authorities in Argentina "regarding reports of the death of a British man". But a spokesman declined to comment any further, including on the identity of the man involved.
