The future of two TV shows starring Liam Payne is uncertain following the tragic death of the former One Direction singer. The 31 year old, known for his hit single Strip That Down, fell to his death from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Wednesday evening. According to preliminary autopsy results, Liam suffered "multiple traumas" leading to "internal and external bleeding".
One such project is Netflix's music competition series Building The Band, which was greenlit in May and had reportedly completed filming. Liam was set to appear as a judge on the show and was spotted in Manchester two months ago during auditions, reports the Mirror. A sing-off sensation, the show features 50 vocalists battling it out to create the ultimate band, all without laying eyes on each other. They had to vibe off their musical mojo and chemistry before finally coming face-to-face.
