'I dare say if you could lift me and shake me I’d rattle'
Linda Nolan says she is "tempted" to take drugs in a "rock 'n' roll way" after making an admission about her pills usage.
Writing in her weekly column for the Mirror, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant and recurring guest panellist on Loose Women said: "The irony is I never "did" drugs in any kind of remotely rock ’n’ roll way – it just wasn’t me. I’m now tempted!"Beginning her latest column, the former Nolans group singer wrote: "I found myself asking Denise what “those little green things” were the other day. They weren’t men, thank goodness – we’re not there yet. They were peas.
"A few weeks ago I spoke to my doctor about one of the numerous bottles of pills I’m taking, pregabalin, which I’ve had to help with neuropathic pain, a side effect of radiotherapy. I’ve been on it for years, and I heard something about the downsides of long-term use and thought I better mention it. They suggested lowering my dose.
"I can’t remember a time I wasn’t popping pills. The irony is I never “did” drugs in any kind of remotely rock ’n’ roll way – it just wasn’t me. I’m now tempted!
