Line Of Duty stars Vicky McClure, Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar enjoyed a mini reunion recently, leading fans to ask the trio for a 'new series' of the hit BBC show
The stars of Line Of Duty enjoyed a mini-reunion amid fans' calls for a new series. Actor Martin Compston , who viewers will know as Detective Inspector Steve Arnott in the BBC show, shared a video of himself alongside Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar as they enjoyed what appeared to be a rickshaw ride.
While at one point Adrian requested that the Vengaboys were to be played, Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive came on at one point instead. As they travelled around, Martin spotted some police vans in one street, causing him to exclaim: ‘Yellow notice! Yellow notice!” In response to the clip, fans took to the comments section to comment on the trio’s reunion. “The best trio of police series in the world!!! Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the donkey,” one joked. “Ahhh the best trio! Hope to see you all back on our screens as AC-12 one day,” another wrote.
“I didn’t think anybody would ever trust me to be the lead on a BBC network show. None of us had any idea what it would become. Vicky and Aidy became my best friends. We speak pretty much daily on WhatsApp,” he told Radio Times.
