The situation facing Adam Crawford was laid on the line at Paisley Sheriff Court.
A Linwood conman who stole almost £7,000 from Renfrewshire families has been warned that if he doesn’t save up cash to repay his victims before he returns to court next month, he will be facing a jail term.
Crawford pretended he would carry out landscaping at their home in Neuk Crescent in Houston and order materials on their behalf. The dedicated team of experienced journalists, responsible for the publication of the award-winning Express, will focus on breaking news, day and night, across Renfrewshire’s towns and villages.
Defence agent Gemma Elder told Paisley Sheriff Court Crawford was “keen to recompense those affected” by these incidents and that he wishes to repay them weekly.
