Little Mix 's Jade Thirlwall wasted no time in expressing her feelings about Simon Cowell in her maiden single.
Seemingly, Jade has unsettled scores with ex-manager Simon Cowell, as indicated by her lyrics. In her song, she can be heard singing: "Sold my soul to a psycho," pointing towards SyCo, Simon's record label which managed the Little Mix until 2018. In the early days following their unprecedented win, relations between the girls and music mogul Simon began positively. However, the bond became strained when the band members sought clarity via an assertive email about their songwriting credits.
Jade's latest single and accompanying video echo a nod towards the group's muzzling order on championing womanhood, following her reveal in an interview the band was hindered from projecting positive messages empowering young girls. Conversing with The Sun on this issue, Jade expressed shifting record label "really f****d us over".
